2 Things That Kept me from falling asleep on Fashion Rocks 2007

Fashion Rocks nearly bored me to tears… so I had to start live blogging it.

These celebrities are so into fashion, could they wear something other than black?

And yes if it’s shiny or has sequins or sparkles it’s still just BLACK.   The show interviewed some designers in between but unfortunately this was sooooo boring… they were all so “basic”, jeans, white, black

*yawn*

1.  Usher and Mary J. Blige medley despite Usher being dressed like something between a maitre d and  a wedding singer after everybody was intoxicated.  The singing with these two was AMAZING.

2.   For those who want to get to the best part, fast forward to 53 minutes in to see J Lo.  As usual her performance was on point! Unfortunately her hair, make up and fashions were not so hot! 

J Lo’s hair looked horrible! not nice and bouncy but cut into what my 7th grade best friend called her ‘lion hair’.  Her dress was black and her trenchcoat was black, with sparkles. I would have liked to see a little more risk from such a trendy and fashionable woman.  What’s going on J Lo, losing your edge?
