  Just for my own sordid amusement I thought I’d run down some mints to keep in my purse.  Lifesavers are my cheapo standby and anything my wonderful husband gets free at the conferences/events he goes to.  Seems everywhere you go someone’s trying to push a mint in your face. 

Good hostesses used to offer an after dinner mint but they also had ashtrays and lighters handy.  So are mints good for you?  I’m not so sure about that, definately want to watch the caloric intake and mints are no substitute for regular tooth  cleanings and intaking enough water.  But when/if you’re not sure about your breath mints are the only way to go and since the holidays are also a nostalgic time I’m loving the look of Howard’s Peppermints in their original paper design.  Buy them in a pack of 24 @ Target to hand out or have at your holiday party.
