Beautiful Skin Secret: Sashimi de Grenouille

June 19th, 2008 · 1 Comment

In the quest for more beautiful skin, I have some exciting taste tests planned my lovely readers in the coming weeks.  And while preparing myself mentally I pondered a question: how far would you go for beauty? would you eat weird stuff if it really made you lose weight, not need a facelift, banish all wrinkles, etc…?  Warning the footage is unsettling and gives boy2001 nightmares.

Dr Brandt anti-oxidant water booster Pomegranate Product Review

February 4th, 2008 · No Comments

drbrandtwaterboosters1.jpgI heart good product!  While in New York last month I got to sample (and re-sample and re-sample x 20) dr. brandt’s anti-oxidant water booster in the pomegranate flavor.  There are two other flavors available, lemon and original as well that I did not try.The anti-oxidant booster comes in a small glass dropper bottle.  There are about 60 servings per bottle for $35, a full dropper per 8 ounces water is recommended.  I’m not always that careful about the amount it’s going into, if I haven’t downed enough water during the day I add my dropper fill to more water.

I’ve had this hot and cold but I have a real preference for the cold with ice cubes.  My ritual: I put in some ice cubes in my water a while before I plan on drinking it and then I put in my dropper full of water booster and mix/shake.

The water booster tastes like green tea with a delicious twist, one dopper full is the equivalent of 15 cups of green tea! that is truly amazing and such a time saver.  Get all your anti-oxidants fast and without having to boil water!

The anti-oxidant water booster is great to keep somewhere where you can’t brew your tea like the car, just add it to your Nalgene bottle water and sip your way to better health and skin.

Contains green tea, white tea and grapeseed extract.  For the record I’m still breastfeeding girl2006, there is a warning to consult your doctor if you’re pregnant or taking medications.  The is an expiry date is a year from now.

evian-bottle.jpg

Tomorrow is the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York (February 1-8, 2008) and the official water is EvianEvian is on the forefront of fashions with their luxurious and sought after designer bottles by Christian Lacroix.   I think they’re just gorgeous!

Christian Lacroix closes all of his haute-couture shows with a bridal dress.  Bridal dresses are a symbol of purity and purity is the core of Evian’s brand.

The see through lace and design of the bottle is elegant.  The limited edition bottle is often seen in high-end restaurants, hotels and nightclubs.  Those who like the very best, love Evian.

The Christian Lacroix Evian Bottle quenches the fashionistas thirst for that perfect touch of pretty - without the price tag!

No need to fear, Evian is near!  Supermarkets and grocery stores carry the Natural Spring Water which is quite amazing when you realize that it takes 15 years for each drop of Evian to filter through the glacial sands of the French Alps.

Hydration and beauty go hand in hand, our bodies need pure water to function properly so enjoy a collectible treat your body and senses will enjoy!

How to Eat Like a Hot Chick - the tell all book

November 20th, 2007 · No Comments

How to Eat Like a Hot ChickHow to Eat Like a Hot Chick is the book I’ve been needing to read and have.  I love books that keep me focused on my goals and give me good solid advice about how to achieve that.  Written by two super women, Jodi Lipper and Cerina Vincent you’ll get all the info and inspiration you can use to get a jump start on that holiday feasting.

Whenever I see a gorgeous woman I wonder, how do they eat?  What are they doing that I’m not, that’s where this book comes in handy, How to Eat Like a Hot Chick is no secret, motivation is the key and keeping your inner hotness revved up and ready to work for you is the key to being hot.   When I was skinny, I knew that I could indulge often in things I loved, it just meant I had to eat something low/no calorie to balance out my calories. Why do you want to look hot, for yourself or others? did you know that anyone can and probably is hot, it just needs to be unleashed!

Interestingly enough the book talks about casual sex but then seems traditional things like using a knife and fork for your lunch, pointing out that you can’t look HOT “while stuffing a 12 inch hoagie in your mouth.”  Those Hot Chicks tell it like it is!  That’s why I take my sandwiches to go, no need to look less than hot in public if you don’t have to!

They also believe as I do in the power of *feeling* your inner hotness.  The Secret had that effect on me and now I not only think positive, I FEEL positive and that has encouraged me in countless ways recently.   This book had me roaring with laughter, it is hilarious and will get you thinking about the food choices you make everyday.  There is a moderate amount of cursing, so it’s not right for everybody but would make a great gift to the right lady.

Look for this book right after you make your New Year’s Resolution, How to Eat Like a Hot Chick will be available everywhere January 2008!
