I tested two L’Oreal HIP Presso Lip Glosses this month so if you’ve been wondering what that is on my lips it’s been this stuff.   The first thing that caught my attention was the scent,  something like a vanilla cupcake which may have some of you salivating.  As you may know, vanilla is not a personal favorite scent.  However, I’m a trooper and at the rate I go through lip gloss I’m willing to overlook the scent. 

The application is ok.  Pop off the top, squeeze either side to choose how much color you want.  It’s not particularly ’intense’ but it’s still a nice gloss.  The bonus is it was not sticky at all!  Sticky glosses are my pet peeve so I’m always on the lookout for offending glosses.

Q: How long have you been a Juicy Tubes fan?
A:  I was a Juicy Tubes fan way before I started working at Lancôme! When I was in elementary school, I had the coolest babysitter who always wore fancy lip gloss!  When I was finally old enough to wear lip gloss, I tried so many different ones until I found my love…Juicy Tubes. It was a match made in heaven! Since that day, I‘ve been a Juicy Tubes girl all the way.
Q: What is your favorite Juicy Tubes mainstay shade?
A: We have a core range of 30 permanent shades that are always available. There are so many that I love, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Sun Bronze. This shade is the perfect color on me, it’s a rich, lush bronze. It has a slight shimmer that really dresses up my lips. I always get so many compliments whenever I wear my Sun Bronze gloss.
Q: What is your favorite limited edition Juicy Tube of all time?
A: Our new Chic Delights collection is my favorite limited-edition collection and it’s available at Lancôme counters now! French Vanilla is my favorite shade in this collection, it’s a light cream color and it’s perfect when you just want to add a little shimmer on your lips.

Q: Do you wear anything under your Juicy Tube application?
A: It really depends. Juicy Tubes is so versatile. You can wear it alone (which is the way I normally do) or over your favorite lipstick to really add moisture and shine.

Q: Generally speaking, do you apply your Juicy Tubes gloss in the mirror or in your mind’s eye?
A: I’m always on the go, so I don’t normally use a mirror to apply Juicy Tubes. The applicator is slanted in a way that is just so easy to apply directly on your lips.

Q: What are your thoughts on SPF in lipcare? would you like to see SPF added to Juicy Tubes? why or why not
A: Absolutely! Having SPF in a product is only an added benefit to me.

If you like a tamer, more subtle gloss [...]]]> yesss!  you’re gonna be a pout-y mouth with this amazingly dramatic lipgloss.  The Plum by Night shade is my favorite thing in the makeup bag right now, there is a sweet berry fragrance to it that makes me HAPPY! the color is not to be messed with, berrylicious.

If you like a tamer, more subtle gloss look into Rose by Night, it’s a sheer pink, very light and wearable.  Non-sticky lipgloss is hard to come by and in great shades no less.
