By my bedside I’ve had a few almost-empty moisturizers. If you were in my home, and standing by my bed (how likely is that? ###consider this foreshadowing###(it will all make sense shortly I promise)) it would surely puzzle you and you’d think I was a beauty hoarder but that is NOT the case at all.
I’ve [...]
Oraser is a daily hand repair lotion with spf 20 that leaves my hands feeling so good.
If you’re not familiar with Dr. Obagi’s products, let me tell you for starters they are in the prettiest plastic tubing in the beauty world in my opinion. Elegant white with blue and silver trim with an interesting ‘zo’ logo [...]
I’ve been missing a good exfoliant in my routine for some time now. I went through a period of trying lots of different exfoliating products and paying the price afterwards… you know red, irritated skin an that horrible raw feeling. It’s really bad and I guess I subconsciously retreated and stuck with foam [...]

Sadly, I’m not one of those women that likes to spend time on myself before going to bed. Showering is a nightly ritual but beyond that there is conflict. It’s not unusual for me to go to sleep with makeup on or not properly moisturized. booooo! The problem is of course that I [...]
CLARINS - the brand I don’t use enough. I’ve used a lot of CLARINS products in my pre-blogging days but as my shopping is cut back so is the product range.

A beauty blog fairytale...
Once upon a time, not too long ago, a lady was tired of talking heads that didn't get her lifestyle. She longed for one place where she could record her thoughts on the many wonderful products that came into her life and made it better (or worst).
Originally inspired by the tea she drank and steeped constantly, now the best part of waking up is a steamy, frothy espresso. So she may be a little fickle with her beverages!
Steeping Beauty has a soft spot for all things beautiful.
- skincare
- fragrance
- hair care
- nails
As well as all things culturally significant to her favorite far far away lands... France, Brazil, Japan, USA. Let's see where this less than perfect princess will step...
xoxo
