I completely agree about the method of cleaning. That is what I tell my customers at Sephora. It is also important to clean the brushes, because if not that bacteria builds up and can also cause breakouts too. I remember having a client with break out issues on her checks and she could not figure out why until I asked her when was the last time she cleaned her make up brushes. Her response was 2 years. Yuck, but after a month she came back into my store and her face cleared up tremendously.
