How To Eat Like a Hot ChickMy first day in New York was fast paced and full of action. I shopped and visited with my step sister, had lunch with her at her fabulous restaurant Les Sans Cullottes East, got to see David Letterman live, got a laser peel which burned my cheeks and made them look like chop meat @ Henri Bendel (see the pic below) and to top it all off — I attended the How To Eat Like a Hot Chick by Cerina Vincent and Jodi Lipper book launch party @ Club Stereo.

Cerina and Jodi are so sweet and it has NOTHING to do with the cupcakes from Billy’s Bakery! They are ”hot” chicks but also very considerate making sure I met everyone, Cerina even took the time to hunt someone down for me.  I got to hang with their families (and future family) before the party because I got there about 8:30 (that’s dedication!) and was invited in and got to see the behind the scenes of the red carpet while many others were waiting outside.

How to Eat Like a Hot Chick is inspirational and practical because it’s not a diet book, it’s just plain common sense.  The book has great advice on what NOT to order and how to make amends for the things you do.  Great gift to inspire your own Hot Chick.  This may just be the first in a series, How to *insert anything* like a Hot Chick!

I also got to meet some great people like Jane-Rose, Felicia Sullivan and Lauren from Second City Style.  In between all the screwdrivers I frantically scribbled emails and webpages in the dark - when these resurface I will post them here.  I feel I’m getting closer to eating like a Hot Chick with every keystroke!

How To Eat Like a Hot Chick is available from Collins Books @ Amazon and Barnes & Nobles.

I have book launch envy. It sounds like you had a fabulous time. I am living in an igloo in the Midwest, sipping a cup of tea as I write, and seriously miss the buzz of the East Coast. Enjoy!!!!
