I guess I’ll have to break down and buy it…
 I saw Teri Hatcher on Oprah promoting this book Burnt Toast a while back. Ever since I’ve been combing the thrifts looking for it. The theme, as Hatcher described it, fits totally with the whole being last and taking the least desirable (burnt toast) for oneself while giving the best to everyone else. I can totally relate and I bet a lot of other mothers can too.
I also can appreciate what she went through having to see her abuser on a regular basis. I am SO impressed that she testified against him, good for her!! She’s proven to be not only a woman of beauty (it seems she looks better as she gets older, doesn’t it?) but also a woman of great spirit and guts – a true Steeping Beauty!
By the way I’m having Desperate Housewife withdrawals, it’s going to be a loooong summer…

A beauty blog fairytale...
Once upon a time, not too long ago, a lady was tired of talking heads that didn't get her lifestyle. She longed for one place where she could record her thoughts on the many wonderful products that came into her life and made it better (or worst).
Originally inspired by the tea she drank and steeped constantly, now the best part of waking up is a steamy, frothy espresso. So she may be a little fickle with her beverages!
