Great stuff!  Laura Mercier’s foundation primer is an optional extra step for us make up enthusiasts.  It made my skin feel smoother but also kept my blush on most of the day, good good good.  That’s one of my issues because I keep giving my face mini-massages which rubs off my make up — don’t try it, very addictive and hard habit to break!

I didn’t really notice a hydrating effect but this was a very cold windy day in Maine and I spent the latter half outside planting wisterias and boxwoods so it may have kept my skin from getting as dry as it would have been normally.  If you want to treat yourself to a little extra something, definately not a necessity.
