    Lavilin Deodorant Cream Eliminates Bacteria

    Lavilin Underarm cream

I’ve been using for a few weeks — Lavilin Deodorant Cream that is.  I’m done buying whatever’s on sale, or what will look pretty on the bathroom sink, I want something that works and is long-lasting.  This is a revolutionary concept, bye bye daily deodorant duty, you only need to apply Lavilin every few days.

Normally I would apply my regular deodorant in the morning and by night it would be totally ineffective. Lavilin claims to last up to 7 days dependent on lifestyle.  My personal experience has been best when I applied the cream at 5 day intervals.  Isn’t that perfect for travel?  Now you don’t have to bring all that deodorant on vacation with you!  Day 5 is when I noticed odor starting, so to be safe I’ve been reapplying on the fifth morning and every-thing’s worked out perfectly.

I don’t need ANY other deodorant! the nice part is Lavalin is unscented so it does not interfere with any of your other beauty products.  Apply a small amount of Lavalin Deodorant Cream to your freshly washed underarms and carry on about your business.

There is no residue at all, perfect for summer sleeveless, strapless wear.    NO parabens, phthalates, aluminum or alcohol. So what is in it?  Essential oils from Chamomile, Arnica and Calendula work with your body to eliminate bacteria. It is in fact bacteria that causes odor, not sweat, eliminating bacteria is vital.  I’ve heard some natural deodorants can leave you wet and sticky but I felt no wetness while using Lavilin.  It is also water resistant so it’s perfect for summer water sports, give it a try some time soon.  With airlines charging for baggage, it’s a great way to minimize your beauty baggie on short trips.

Lavilin is not working for me. Maybe I am using it incorrectly. When you become a lavilin user, are you supposed to stop washing your underarms with soap and water — otherwise you wash off the Lavlin?

    • tacnez,

I don’t think you’re supposed to stop washing with soap and water. It’s water resistent, I do wash underarm very quickly most days and it is still effective.

I’m wondering, how long have you been using it? It may also be due to your physical effort and excessive heat or just your diet and body chemistry.

      thanks for stopping by…

    • Hey TacNez – Lavilin isn’t a barrier type deodorant, so washing is not going to effect it at all. It basically absorbs into the skin and wipes out the odor causing bacteria, which then take several days to regenerate.

Thanks for your responses and comments. I had only used it a couple of times, and almost gave up on it. But because of your posts, I decided to give it a second chance.
It works now. I believe my problem was that I wasn’t using enough product and not applying it over a wide enough area.
It is now withstanding my 4 mile sweaty runs! I am glad I gave it a second chance.

    • that’s great new tacnez! I’m so glad it’s working for you now! :)

I don’t want to give up on lavilin and have been using it for about 2 weeks, but it only lasts for about 3 hours and then the odor is right back. I have adhered to the instructions 100%. I don’tunderstand why it works so well for some but for me it is not working at all?? It is as though I am not wearing any deodorant at all!!

It didn’t work too well for me the first week or two, but now is much better.

I live in Dubai where its hot and humid. lavillin is the only deodrant that works for me. Can anyone please tell me how I can order this product in bulk. Is there a manufacturers website? Appreciate your help.

Lavilin works when you put on enough, on a wide enough area, and your skin is DRY when it goes on. Keep trying with these things in mind, and I bet you’ll make it work for you.

I really love your product. Is there a way I can become your agent to advertise this product so that more people know about it in NY area?

I am really interested in this. Please respond to me at your earliest convenience.

When making the transistion from an antiperspirant to Lavilin I’ve had the best results by thoroughly washing off the antiperspirant first… hot shower, lopping off excess hair (as opposed to a cosmetic shaving that is closer but more likely to trigger lymph node inflamation) and an upper torso wipe down with rubbing alcohol. I do this for at least three days – that’s three days without using any antiperspirant, which is no fun either – before applying the Lavilin. I usually stay on the Lavilin for a couple of weeks to make sure I wipe out anti-bacterial soap resistant bacteria and then transistion back to an antiperspirant, which Lavilin is not. I find that doing this, possibly less than once a year, keeps the really aggressive problems at bay… the ones that may not lead the field in offensive factor, but seem to be impervious to scrubbing with hot water and antibacterial soap.

    • I try a whole variety of products (skin care, body care, you name it I’ve tried it) and I did find this product to be effective. I haven’t bought any more of it recently, but what I love about it is that it is so natural and much better for my body than conventional products. What I don’t like, though is that it’s not anti-perspirant and I tend to sweat a lot (I’ve worn a lot of under-arm tissues in my time!). Cheers, Jen.
