I’m heading into the New Year with a new favorite skincare line. Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare is such a delight to use. I must admit the robin’s egg blue box got me in a very happy mood from the get go… I am a BIG Tiffany’s fan!
Keep in mind all these products are free of animal extracts! So here are some of the products in a nutshell…
Pure Muslin Cloths gently exfoliate, much finer than a washcloth you won’t feel like you’re ripping your skin off. Recommendations call for washing after every other use in a 40 degree wash. Since these would surely be lost in the laundry, I’ve been washing by hand and hanging on a hook sink side.
Superskin Concentrate is sooo good. After cleansing warm up just a bit in your fingers and apply to neck and face. It smells so good due to the wonderfully aromatic ingredients. Argan, organic rosehip oils, soothing neroli, lavender and chamomile essential oils plus protective natural source vitamin E. I went through a stage a few years ago where I applied all the essential oils I could get my hands on. I’m pretty sure this step is not for everyone but personally I love it and love the effects on my skin, it’s softer and the morning after looks younger.
Instant Boost Skin Tonic is soothing and takes off the last of the residue you have on your skin. Toner is something I have to force myself to use… especially in the winter. I’m usually cold and dying to jump back in bed by the time I get to cleansing my face so toning is only done every few days when I’ve worn a lot of makeup or feel grimy for some reason. On those occasions I relish the scent or the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and have grown to appreciate the twist-cap bottle.
Superskin Moisturizer is for those of you that like a little less scent as it is fragrance-free. It has Omega 3s, GLA and antioxidants which will work to plump your skin. It’s a lovely product and one that will suit women of all ages and preferences.
Now for my favorite product from this collection…
Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser with Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa Butter and Eucalyptus Essential Oil will get all the grime and dirt of the day off. I find it’s only necessary after a long day but it’s gentle enough to use twice a day if necessary. The best way to use it is to lather up a creamy layer and use the hot muslin cloth to polish it away. This item is so popular it’s even available by subscription!!
