So here is the amazing and ultra-riveting coverage of my in-home L’Oreal Hair Color Party using an old favorite, Feria! Since we were mostly mommies we had our party during the day! Fruits, light pastry, talk about kids…
Here are some before and after shots, there was so much going on I didn’t get much during. I do have some flip video but I’m having a little trouble uploading it, seems I’m missing something!
Here are some before, during and after shots:
Everybody was happy with their color but we did have our share of complaints! Like why don’t hair color companies sell the conditioner seperately? we all LOVE the conditioner that comes with the dye by the way, and it is a generous tube portion, we just want to be able to buy more at will!
The plastic gloves that come with the kit are a nice quality, the dye mixed well. The process is simple, just mix and apply then wait out your time. The dye washes out very quickly so you will quickly get to your desired look.
As expected, we had darker color than we anticipated that first day. It takes a few days (washes) to get to the true color in my experience so make sure to give yourself some time before your event. Also, don’t forget to do your patch test! I got terrified with my color because my head got really hot! but it all turned out great and I actually love my color!
There’s no before shot of me, since I forgot to ask one of the ladies to take my picture and the only pictures I get from my husband are like I’ve been chased by the papparazzi. So here’s a pic with me and mom in the pool just minutes after we colored and dried. Make sure to visit and vote at the L’Oreal Feria Voting booth at Total Beauty!

I have been using Loreal Feriz and this is the first problem I have had. I have meduim brown hair and bought Auburn Brown #56 and me hair turned bright red on the top and dark red in the back and sides. I can not afford to pay $85.00 to go to a beauty shop to get it repaired. What do you suggest to cover the red?
Ann! this is really bad news! I have no idea on the response to this problem and unfortunately I see it’s a day late because I didn’t see it.
I see there’s a haircolor removal kit that makes it safe to recolor but that seems like a lot to go through and take a chance coloring again.
I hope you’ve found a solution, I really suggest you see a professional @ this point before the color can lock into the cuticle.
let me know what happens!
Feria conditioner is sold at Sally’s Beauty supply for around $9.00 for a large tube; it is truly amazing!
