magazinesWe’re heading into the New Year and with that many of us vow to keep up with things, save money and time and learn more.  You may be looking into getting new magazine subscriptions for your household or as gifts.  I let a lot of my subscriptions run out a year ago because I couldn’t keep up with them when girl2006 was born.

2008 is looking up and I have a pretty good routine going with all three kids getting alone time and plenty of free time for sibling play so I want to keep some mags in the car.  I often read magazines when we go to playgrounds, Chuckie Cheese and other play places where they meet up with other kids to play so I’m looking forward to lots great reading.  I went to eBay and found lots of magazines to choose from, here’s what I got:

  • elle 36 months $7.55
  • Vogue 24 months $9.45
  • Harper’s Bazaar 36 months $4.70
  • Allure 36 months $9.50
  • Cosmopolitan and Marie-Claire 12 months $8.98

156 magazines for about $40, I don’t want to even think about the newsstand price! I’ve used eBay for magazine subscriptions before and always had good experiences.  Check that the seller(s) you choose are not charging any shipping charge, the total price you want to pay should equal the Buy It Now (BIN) price.  Also verify that they do not “auto renew” your subscription.

Happy Magazine Browsing, don’t forget to pass on your copy…

Yea, newstand prices get rediculous. I’m going to start subscribing because they amount you paid for 156 magazine/year is what I pay every month.
