I keep trying to tempt myself to change perfumes… as you may remember from way back when, I am a serious Chanel Gardenia fan. But like everything else, sometimes you need a break from the familiar, that’s when I give my perfume samples another look.
I’ve been wearing Prada’s Infusion D’IRIS today and I can now safely report that I have not been swayed to stray from my old favorite! I chose “infusion” because of the relation to tea and steeping things to pull out flavors or scents.
I’m really surprised because this stuff smelled like rubbing alcohol when I first put it on, then it just dissipated and I was left scentless – so I reapplied reluctantly (I was really determined to form an opinion on this).
The scent stuck a little better the second time around because I practically doused myself with it. Infusion D’Iris is VERY light and you’re going to need to use more of it which is probably not very cost effective. If you are into really vague iris scents, give this a try.
