This is Super Bowl Weekend and while that doesn’t mean much to me, my husband will be stuck to the t.v. Sunday leaving me a football widow. I’m not one of those wives that pretends to care about the teams or the home runs or any of that, we’ve been married to long to fake an interest in football so I’m totally clueless.
I copied some pages out Coach Nancy’s (aka Beauty411) Playbook and am using her titles – hope that’s ok!
The Playbook: Would have to be the Little Black Book of Style by Nina Garcia, I’m still loving this sweet little book I reviewed a while ago. The illustrations by Ruben Toledo are amazing and inspiring – I wish I could get some prints for my room or even my blog theme. Another great make up book is Cindy Crawford’s Basic Face from so long ago, beautiful images with practical advice.
The Offense: Taking supplements of some type, there are a lot of different ones on the market. I’m using Imedeen to clear up my innerds and make myself glow all over. I’m on week 3 or so but it states it takes 3 months to see visible results so I will have to keep you guys posted on the long term results on this one.
The Defense: Sunblock! Right now I’m using Image Skincare solar defense hand creme SPF 15, I love it because it’s oil free, easy to apply and has a fresh clean scent.
Special Teams: What would I definately need to go out on the field? Hydration and my Dr. Brandt Anti-Oxidant Water Booster is a great way to drink in the healthful benefits with a great flavor. You just squirt a small amount into your water and you have a refreshing light drink – I love the Pomegranate flavor!!
MVP: The Bench: I have so many products I could put into this category! I still really want a T3 to blow dry my locks, a Zeno and those shoes that make you lose weight that Beauty Blogging Junkie always talks about (cannot remember and too lazy to go check out the name). I’d also like to get more moisturizer, we’re going through moisturizer like crazy with this frigid weather!
