Have you met SUNDÃRI? If not, allow me to correct that… SUNDÃRI is a spa skincare line from India that promotes harmony and balance. They use organic ingredients like Sandalwood Oil, a nurturing oil that is used in Indian culture to purify the skin. The line includes exfoliators, serums, masks, creams and more.
SUNDÃRI supports reforestation of the precious Sandalwood trees. There are measures in place in India to try and prevent the extinction of the Sandalwood Tree but poachers are resourceful and ready to cut them down at any time.
We (global society) has come to a point where we have to put our money where our mouth is. If we don’t support companies that are aware of the problems out there and are actively working to preserve forests then we are supporting the alternative: extinction of countless natural resources.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day 2008!
You may be wearing green, but have you done anything green today?
Support an eco-friendly company that not only produces “green” products but also encourages good habits. The Clean Logic Body Care team is dedicated to keeping the world Green by reducing waste and reusing products, something we can all do. The most impressive thing I found out is they have plants througout the office to help absorb the airborne pollutants and negative ions! Taking care of living things = serious dedication to the environment. If that wasn’t enough they even carpool to work!
Clean Logic’s Soap Sponge Product Review
It’s a soap, it’s a sponge, it exfoliates, it creates suds! and a specialty soap dish too! There are four scents to choose from, Cucumber Melon, Lavender, Warm Vanilla and my favorite, Peach Berry!
The Soap Sponge is a great time saver, no need to pour, launder washcloths or handle slippery soaps. Soap Sponge is four things in one. When I first opened the package I was afraid this soap would be too harsh and strip away too much.
After using it for two weeks my skin was unchanged! It was gentle soap with a great scent, isn’t that a hard combination to get? The exfoliation of the sponge was just right, gentle enough for everyday use. This would make a great generic gift to keep on hand for those unexpected gift giving obligations.

I went on a shopping spree and bought loads of Dr. Brandt stuff, it was just time to get on to the new beauty, ya know. I got to meet the good Doctor Brandt at an event (which is a nice way to put buying fest!) Dr. Brandt was very pleasant and informed me that I had hyper pigmentation on my cheeks which I kind of knew, just didn’t know there was a fancy name to it. He prescribed some products which could have easily totaed $700 or so to get my face up to par but I had to be practical and get the starter kit (more about that some other time) and the microdermabrasion.
The Microdermabrasion really scared me, I think it’s the -abrasion- part of the word. When I think of abrasive I think of Ajax. Ajax is not something I want around my face - not a good correlation to get.
Anyway, Dr. Brandt’s microdermabrasion is my new favorite thing. I would highly suggest testing a little patch of skin to make sure it won’t be too harsh before your first use. I pledge to use it twice a week for the rest of my life. I’ve only used it a few times and I already feel new baby skin. Really soft and touchable.
hint: a small jar is in the New Beauty Boxes I blogged about earlier.
