NARS Divine Duo Eyeshadow Darling, Pink and Brown, vibrant do I dare to wear?!  I’ve experimented a bit and I like it as a thin wash of pink color.  I put pink on the lid and the brown in the crease.  I’ll try from scratch some day soon. Have I mentioned, my camera is busted, seems a lot of people with the same Sony model are reporting the same problem… Retail on the NARS eyeshadow is $32

 Too Faced has won my heart with this cute little pocket palette!  It fits in the palm of your hand.  I can’t stop opening and closing it, looking at it and dabbing some lip color, looking in the mirror - repeat, look, repeat. 

6 lip glosses and 4 eyeshadows with adorable little brushes.  The make up itself is passable.  The lip glosses were a disappointment, none of them showed up on me and had a faint scent to ‘em (perhaps vanilla?)  The shadows are worth getting to and make the set worth taking on vacation or in your purse because of the tiny size.  Truth be told the cuteness of the set at this price point make it totally worth it. I can’t wait to run through the makeup and refill with my favorite glosses!

  AVON is the brand I’ve vowed to get to know better this year and so far it’s been great!  For starters the price is good and secondly it’s available online, no need to be scared of being accosted by sales ladies.  Ok, on to the products…

And talking about smokey eyes, try AVON’s smooth mineral eyeshadows.  They come in a little pot and can go on super light or you can layer on more for more drama.  I’ve been wearing a lot of Breeze, which is a stunning blue shimmer shadow but since I’m more of a green person I keep it really light.  I’m also terrified of looking like MIMI from Drew Carrey show which is another reason to tread lightly through blue shadow waters.  Each shimmer shadow is on sale for $4.99!

The most versatile and staple item of this crop in my opinion is the personal match smooth mineral makeup powder.  It’s a loose powder which is portioned small enough to manage in my purse.  The powder can be worn alone but it is so light you may do better to have your foundation on so the powder has a good base to hold onto.  The best part is the personal match is formulated with 100% pure, micronized pigments.  No talc, oil, fragrance or other irritants that can irritate your skin!  This is a great bang for your buck, sale price is only $7.99!
