I like to mix and match my beauty regimen.  I’ll have a low end, although wonderful, shampoo like Mane ‘n Tail and mix it with my apple cider Frederic Fekkai conditioner and brush out with a Mason Pearson brush before laying my head down on a Simply Shabby Chic pillowcase.  I’m just silly like that!

I also love to do the same thing with make up, spendy Laura Mercier eye portfolio with my cheapo Maybelline mascara.  I love the bottle of the Maybelline mascara, that pink and green was so horrible when I was a teenager but now it’s so reliable and consistent.  Funny how things change with age and knowledge…

I’m contantly splurging on some items and being a tightwad with others which is my personal system of checks and balances!  I love to hear about new products and try new things so I often buy full sizes of things I’ve sampled, companies should definately offer ample samples to tempt would be buyers - it definately works!
