Tarte’s We Wish You Health Skinvigorating Discovery Kit contains much of what you need to get your face on with ease and style. Gloss, mascara, face primer and fabulous eyeshadow are all fortified with ingredients that will enhance your looks and health.
My favorite thing from the collection is the Inside Out gloss, it is red in the bottle but really sheer with beautiful glints of shimmer, it is perfect and the best part is it’s powered by Borba. Borba is known for making nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals.
I don’t have much experience with face primers, I’ve used them before in trial sizes but now that I’ve used Clean Slate a few times I feel confident to say there is a real difference when you use a primer before your powder of foundation. I liken it to using primer on your wall before you paint. It’s not a necessary step but it looks a whole lot better. Clean Slate contains Avocado and other oils to moisturize and revitalize your skin naturally.
Lock & Roll eyeshadow is really fun and a complete first for me. There are two different methods of application, roller and brush. The brush applicator is fun because it’s like you’re really painting, it is sooooo creamy! it’s like icing for your eyelids, pretty, pretty, pretty! The color is a shimmery silver, very festive and great for a party. The other end of Tarte’s lock & roll is marked “loose” and has a roll on applicator. The cream part doesn’t rub off at all, I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes sometimes and the cream stayed right in place. The loose one comes off when rubbed but that’s to be expected.
The last part of this kit is the mascara that comes in the cute purple casing that matches the pouch everything comes in. It was adequate for darkening your lashes and adds that finishing touch to your face. The mascara has ProVitamin B5 to treat and thicken your lashes. All of these items would cost you
$50 but you can get Tarte’s We Wish You Health Skinvigorating Discovery Kit @ Sephora for the special price of $30.
